minus-squareSchmidtGenetics@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·2 months agoProvides oxygen which is needed for germination (seeds drown in pure water) and it helps breakdown dissolve the coating of the seed so the water and oxygen can penetrate easier and sooner.
Hydrogen peroxide, but idk why you would use that for seeds 🤷♂️
