A comfort food from my childhood.
This is a community for show and tell to people who bring something to offer, not a place to demand people do legwork for you.
Look at google, learn about thing then ask what people did and create meaningful engagement. Demanding a recipe is against the rules
Looks amazing! I’ll be honest I haven’t heard of this before but it looks good and I am going to look into making a plant based version of it myself. Thanks for sharing!
It’s a polish staple. My grandmother and mother used to always have it as a breakfast spread. It and mizeria are something I’m perpetually trying to get exactly right, the latter proves difficult.
Unfortunately Polish food is extremely dairy and meat heavy, which makes veganising a lot of foods I have positive memories of quite tricky.
This is amazing! So far I have veganized pickle soup lol.
The country I’m from has a very meat heavy diet too so I understand the frustration completely.

rule 6 mate. Don’t be rude.
No I need you to do googling for me I demand it!
I am after all a trained ape, ready to dance for someone’s amusement.

Ignoring the rules of a community is extremely rude.
I would agree, but it doesn’t apply here.
Comrade, this is an established community of friends with certain norms. They may be different from what you are used to elsewhere on the internet. Please understand that we are very protective of these norms because this gives us a nice place online to share what we are doing and meet others with the same values.
Not everyone is looking for what this space provides and I understand it can be hard for things to be different than you are used to.
Looks good! Is the replacement for twarog nut-based?
Yeah nah sorta.
The larger textural elements are crumbled hard tofu, creaminess comes from juggling cashews, soy milk, silken tofu, nooch etc.
It is… a work in progress. It sort of works, but it’s not perfect.
