feel free to remove if it’s too low quality. Just wanted to post somewhere nice for a change.

Lefty memes is too visible to the “VOTE” liberals of lemmy world so they downvote any such opinion or meme without a second thought.

Anyway don’t worry about the votes they don’t matter.

Liberals think that the only way to protect people and get change is to vote. They refuse to comprehend that there are other options, because they are too scared to do anything that actually matters. Voting is the easy way to feel like a good person and feel like you make a difference. Know that your efforts to ACTUALLY help people are recognized and appreciated. By me, other anarchists, and the people you directly impact with your actions. Don’t let liberals make you feel bad for not falling for their pyramid scheme of a system

I never even said to not vote. They probably thought “fuck the state” means “don’t vote”. And they are connected but not the same.

You’re right, I was putting words in your mouth. Sorry. I do feel my comment is more or less still relevant

No you weren’t. At least not in my opinion. I was just continuing the thought not refuting anything you said.

looks at +5-20 votes Is there an actual reason this comm’s full of fools? Everything actually leftish in “Lefty Memes” gets downvoted. It’s kindof a bad joke at this point.

Imean, for one thing there’s the issue of “why are you here if the actual topic of this place disgusts you?” but then there’s the fact that so many people are eager to jump on and fight over things that aren’t even being said. It’s like a big pack of trolls but I don’t think they even know it.

This is probably a hot take (apparently my previous one was also a hot take so who cares), I blame Hasan. He is no more than a spicy liberal, basically a social democrat. But he calls himself a socialist. So people watch him, feel radical and call themselves socialist when all they really want is a welfare state.

This is why I would disable them. Or call them dislikes and make them add to the score. as it’s still an opinion.

I guess you could see it that way. Just the “opinion rather than relevancy” sounds so appropriate to the downvote topic that I assumed it was that.

You think the election posts were low quality? I was going more of a clean minimalist vibe instead. Got any tips?

    Why?

Because human society is based on rationalisation of the unacceptable as being tolerable. If we could strip such delusions away, society would go mad.
