    The comment I responded to:

“Idaho senator born in another state tells Native American congressional candidate from a tribe native to the state to “go back where you came from.”

Literally focused on state. That’s precisely the exacting point they were making. Like how do you read that and not think that was about the state.

And yes I think there is hypocrite damnation. Like how do you misread so badly that you think I don’t jfc. The hypocrite damnation belongs on the national level, not the state level. It doesn’t go away just because you’re from that state.

I don’t even understand what you’re saying. The guy is a hypocrite because the woman he told to go back where she came from was from the tribe that literally came from that land they were on, while he came from Illinois.

Seriously? Go back and read again. And don’t say that I’m saying he’s not a hypocrite, because I am saying he’s a hypocrite. Just not because of the state level, because of the national level. Seriously I can’t keep explaining the same thing to you. Like JFC how do you misread so badly. Go back and read slowly and carefully. I can’t help you any more.

He’s a hypocrite on both levels. He came from a different state, so he’s a hypocrite to tell her that, and he’s not indigenous, so he’s a hypocrite to tell her that. No amount of slow reading will not make both statements hypocritical.

                Head in Palm moment.

*And you replied within 1 minute. You obviously didn’t go back and reread slowly and carefully.

flying squid just likes to drive engagement because they’re a lemmy addict. arguing with them is about as useless as arguing with a conservative.

ignore these people and focus on garnering support for final solutions. the people are getting close to being as fed up as they can be. all we need is a populace that’s ready to act on a push notification.
