    I like the weather. I like the close proximity of everything. I like the lack of traffic (compared to Sydney and Melbourne - I understand it is still seen as bad to true brisbane locals!). Oh and the big one - I like that I could buy a house within 15km of the CBD for well less than $1mil.

    It’s size. It’s a big enough city that most bands tour here and there’s always something to do but it’s still small enough that it doesn’t feel too intense.

    Mine is easy access to the ocean, after growing up in Toowoomba and it being a nearly 3 hour trek to the seaside back then.

      Yeah it’s nice being able to go up or down the coast. We’re northside so we head up to Bribie Island semi-frequently. I do wish Brisbane had better bayside beaches. Sydney has beautiful beaches, but their accessibility to the majority of Sydneysiders is limited - I imagine if you live way out west, you wouldn’t be heading to Maroubra very frequently.
