A group of Google engineers has proposed a new Web API that threatens to uproot the work of apps and browsers if they interfere with its ad business. Will the open Web survive?
Aren’t there already laws that could prevent this new API thing? It seems that it is extremely intrusive into people’s private business.
At this point, I think Google should be broken up in smaller pieces.
