    Elections officials had already begun printing ballots by the time Kennedy formally asked to have his name removed from ballots. The legal deadline to start sending out mail-in ballots is Friday, and officials said it was too late to reprint new ballots. Kennedy’s lawsuit says that’s not true, and that, even if it is, it’s not his problem. But that argument didn’t carry the day in court.

    Hmm.

    Ngl, this election probably the wildest in history. So NC most definitely in play now for D’s.

    Current polling has it at 48.4 to Trump, 48.0 to Harris.

    So yeah, a small percentage of voters who would break for Trump putting down RFK Jr. could be the difference.

      NC had been trying really hard to push out Dem judges. In a budget bill lawmakers snuck in a change to the selection of the members of the board that handles complaints about judges. Now the board is entirely selected by parts of the government held by Republicans. They’ve been targeting black and Democratic judges across the state.
