Another group within Germany’s security structures has been found to be inclined toward Nazi imagery. Recklinghausen officials are concerned by this incident, the second in recent months.

I think that the only major country that still overtly does this is Russia, and it’s a pretty big part of why the rest of the world is lining up behind Ukraine.

The Geneva Convention was made for a reason. One of the primary reasons was to stop shit like that. International Law isn’t perfect, but it does it’s best to punish flagrant violations.

Of the wars currently underway, 100% of them involve soldiers raping women and children.

I’d be interested to hear which wars didn’t involve that? Maybe we can find 1 or 2 since 1945? And literally every other war in history has.

The difference is the scale at which it’s perpetrated, and whether or not punitive action is taken against the soldiers who perpetrate such acts.

There are very clearly two categories of countries in that sense: one that actively and aggressively discourages and punishes such heinous actions; and one that at best turns a blind eye, or at worst actively encourages inhumane actions by its forces as a mechanism of terror against non-combatants.

Do not try to sell your false equivalence here. It will not pass muster.
