It’s also trivial to skip the launcher by adding
--skip-launcherto the Launch Options.I am going to try this tomorrow. But I have to figure out a way to default to Vulkan without launcher.
You can change your launch options to
"install location/bin/bg3.exe" %command%to both disable the launcher and launch in vulkan mode. Usebg3_dx11.exefor the dx11 version.However, use caution, when I tried this, it did launch without launcher using Vulkan, but I didn’t have access to my saves for some reason. I switched back and may saves are back again. So, not sure what’s up with that.

It didn’t work for me. But thanks for trying. I will keep selecting Vulkan and play each time I launch it
There might be another command line option for using vk instead of dx. I’m not sure of that though.
