You might be, but the vast majority of the population would not like it.
Sure one could argue that the content is addictive and they shouldn’t want to view that stuff, but that’s a separate issue.
I feel like we’d need a scientific research project to figure out how to replace youtube with something that won’t enshitifiy.

Don’t forget their general lack of moderation. I’d use just about any site over OK.ru as I’ve seen some truly reprehensible videos on there.
Oh I have no idea about any of that I only search specific movies I want to see on regular search engines and add that to the search to find the video. They have a lot of really old movies that I like which are actually hard to find on other sites. Maybe don’t go on there and look for reprehensible things?
