    Why does the BBC keep calling the right-wing rioters ‘protesters’? Is it purely to draw a false equivalency between the people throwing bricks at mosques, acid attacking people, and burning police cars and the people opposing that?

      The BBC supports traditionalism and maintaining the status quo and so are predisposed to not calling out social or ethic problems because it would necessitate change.
