Act Now to Stop War and End Racism, also known as ANSWER Coalition, told Newsweek that organizers are planning to demonstrate at the event where Harris will likely be named the Democratic nominee for the 2024 election.

They argue that the vice president’s role in the Biden administration ties her to “horrific war crimes” in the Middle East.

“We plan on mobilizing to join protests during the DNC to demand an end to the genocide in Gaza,” Walter Smolarek, the media coordinator for ANSWER Coalition, said. “We are joining with the coalition that has already been formed in Chicago to demonstrate. We believe it is just as important to protest now that Kamala Harris has replaced Joe Biden as the Democrats’ nominee.”

    Simultaneously, Harris CANNOT afford to piss off AIPAC to the degree that they start throwing all of their cash towards Trump

    This is true, but also applies after the election.

    Why would she ever change?

    Also, it’s not just AIPAC. The military industrial complex needs to offload its old equipment and recoup some of the costs, selling to an infinite hole like Israel is good for business.
