It matters, but for Israel to object to the presence of a Palestinian on the grounds that others of her genetic stock killed some of theirs is both nonsensical (she can’t be held responsible for the actions of others just because they share a skin tone) and hypocritical (because they are currently engaged in the same activity, on a greater scale).
