    The poll of 1,253 adults was conducted July 11-15, 2024, using a sample drawn from NORC’s probability-based AmeriSpeak Panel, which is designed to be representative of the U.S. population. The margin of sampling error for all respondents is plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.

    Wow 1,000 people. That’s just enormous. Way more than the number of people who can fit in a phone booth.

      Polls are so accurate amirite?

      I wonder if it was a sampling of folks who were at home during the day with a landline.

        Oh no, this is the future of polling. These are people who specifically signed up to take polls. Gave their real email and agreed to all the terms and conditions. Used a supported browser, approved all the scripts, got profiled out the wazoo.

        As one does.
