In this particular case I don’t mind.
Why? Once again they were inept in the worst possible way. They could have got trigger happy and shot the guy before it happened or they could have fucked off completely and let him take his shot. But no, they managed the worst possible outcome, trumps a martyr and still above ground, spouting bile.
“Problem” is sometimes subjective.
Unfortunately when it comes to cops, inept likely means more dangerous as opposed to less effective

What I find weird is that the area where he accessed the roof was apparently a police staging area. Basically, the guy waltzed through a police staging area with a long gun and shot the ex-president.
