Sometimes we feel like we’re screaming into the void

Bet that’s how scientists felt the past 20+ years.

I’ll tell you what else is screaming. The 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel in my 2023 Ford F-150 SuperDuty. You see, it’s a robust and versatile heavy-duty pickup truck designed to excel in performance, technology, and comfort. With powerful engine options, and advanced features like the SYNC 4 infotainment system and comprehensive driver-assistance technologies, it offers exceptional towing and payload capabilities. Available in multiple trims and cab configurations, the SuperDuty combines rugged design with a spacious and well-appointed interior, making it ideal for both demanding work tasks and running over children in my neighborhood.

Here I was thinking this was gonna end with " and 25 years ago undertaker threw mankind off hell in the cell into an announcers table".

I’ve always felt that if you need the /s you’re doing sarcasm wrong, even acknowledging text conveys no verbal tone.

I would agree with you, but sarcasm has to be both implied and inferred. There’s plenty of people that freak out about an extremely obvious sarcastic comment…

Yeah, but the people who freak out over what you wrote sarcastically also have a habit of freaking out over stuff you don’t write, but they imagine you did, so I feel tailoring posts for them is a waste of time.

“I still think the scientists were wrong,” people will say, as the world burns around them.

If the party had backed Al Gore we’d have flying cars driven by talking dogs by now

It’s insane how much shit would have been better if the party had his back

Uhm, do you need a reminder that Bush was chosen by the Supreme Court, who essentially told them to stop the count?

Do you need a reminder that three current Supreme Court Justices worked on that legal case to hand the victory to Bush, and somehow very conveniently they all later were confirmed as Justices?

Like how the fuck are they supposed to have his back when the Supreme Court was taking the side of the Bush team in regards to the hanging chads debacle? What were they supposed to do? Just ignore the ruling, finish the count, and do what Trump is doing now? Lawfare it to hell and back? It was already at the Supreme Court, I’m really failing to understand what the party could have done to “have his back.”

The Republicans stole an election, yes the Dems should have engaged in as much “lawfare” as necessary to prevent them from stealing an election.

It only looks stupid when Donald Trump does it because the kind of large-scale election fraud he is claiming is the kinda conspiracy only an insane person could believe. Gore had the votes, the Dems should never have stopped pushing for the full recount.
