I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for how you run your games on the net, or want to just share your setups (discord? foundry? some other niche tool?)

    I played RED on Discord.

2 text channels and one voice:

    • #meatspace (for out-of-game chat)
    • #edge (for dice rolls and potential in-game text content like prepared datashards etc)
    • Agent (for voice)

DiceMaiden bot for dice rolls, and Musify renamed as Johnny Silverhand for ambience

You can look here, Revengeday is cooking up something there

Oh, I forgot to mention that I play more role playing heavy games, so maps are not necessary. But when I played DnD5e, I used OBS and shared my screen for maps and stuff. (OBS so that I could share a map on the left, some info on the right and my face in the bottom etc.)

I don’t know how, in all of my time GMing 5e and Cyberpunk, I’ve never thought to just screenshare a battlemap. That seems like so much less hassle than all the stupid VTT shit I’ve tried thus far, lol
