      E.g. Demeter standards are pretty humane. Also abortion/egg murder is pretty humane.

      My guess:

      Cage free doesn’t mean free range. It means that while they aren’t in cages so small that they can’t stand up, they’re still in a big overcrowded pen akin to a subway at rush hour.

        My chickens are running around in my backyard eating dandelions, bugs, frogs, and mice when they can catch them. They’re little dinosaurs.
