Hamas made Israel do it.
/S
Kathy still haunts me from this movie. If I bump into a table and knock something over I always think of her when I try to put it back.
Israel be like:
Doublespeak.
You mean the water system which has been cannibalized for years by Hamas to create mortars used to attack Israeli civilians?
Here’s more from 2022 where they plugged wells with concrete
Half of Gaza water sites damaged or destroyed, BBC satellite data reveals, (May 8th 2024)
From the above Amnesty article:
In November 1967 the Israeli authorities issued Military Order 158, which stated that Palestinians could not construct any new water installation without first obtaining a permit from the Israeli army. Since then, the extraction of water from any new source or the development of any new water infrastructure would require permits from Israel, which are near impossible to obtain. Palestinians living under Israel’s military occupation continue to suffer the devastating consequences of this order until today. They are unable to drill new water wells, install pumps or deepen existing wells, in addition to being denied access to the Jordan River and fresh water springs. Israel even controls the collection of rain water throughout most of the West Bank, and rainwater harvesting cisterns owned by Palestinian communities are often destroyed by the Israeli army. As a result, some 180 Palestinian communities in rural areas in the occupied West Bank have no access to running water, according to OCHA. Even in towns and villages which are connected to the water network, the taps often run dry.
People like you are unsung heroes in the never ending, always attacked, struggle against ignorance and in this case, a bizarre blend of stupidity and evil to come up with lines like this.
“Gaza is in ruins? Well did you know the palestinian children ruined their own buildings to make rocks to throw at innocent israeli pregnant mothers!”
I cannot fathom how you can look at a slaughter currently taking place and side with the slaughterers and it’s incredibly depressing. The only glimmer of hope is that there are people willing to do the work of compiling sources and pushing back on the brain-dead monsters who want to see suffering.
Once you stand on the side of the occupying regime commiting unspeakable acts of horror, your only option is to condemn the oppressed for their suffering. It’s the only way to square the circle. It’s the only way to maintain the illusion that you’re supporting The Good Guys.
I rejected these actions when my country did it. I reject it when other countries do it.
It’s not hard to oppose killing. I’m not even a pacifist nor do I believe all wars are inherently unjustified, but I can clearly see when a state just wants to kill people for the sake of exerting dominance and control. It’s not hard to see, and it’s not hard to oppose.
The opposition doesn’t have the greatest impact per individual, but it also doesn’t do any harm to you or your life. It won’t be held against you by anyone, you won’t have to change all your ideals about anything. Just oppose killing, oppose death being inflicted punitively against populations. Do no harm, right? It’s NOT a complicated issue in reality. The people who keep crying “it’s complicated!” are just trying to justify what they want, and what they want is death.
I am getting really tired of seeing so many people celebrating the deaths of innocent people.
man the rhetoric on these israel palestine conflict posting only gets more and more extreme.
Sometimes i worry about the palatability of content on the internet.

Who’s blowing everything in Gaza up?
Here’s the article… https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cd119dz515wo
If the infrastructure wasn’t intentionally sabotaged by Hamas there would be less suffering. Water infrastructure in Gaza has been suffering for years due to Hamas’ actions. Bombing provoked by October 7th and the continued holding of hostages has exacerbated the problem but let’s not pretend that municipal water “run” by a genocidal terrorist group was serving all innocent Palestinians with the water they needed prior to the war.
Your argument is my least favourite, because what you’re saying is at least largely true (not sure about everything you’ve said but most of it)… But it’s also irrelevant and absolutely neither an excuse for Israel’s actions. At all. This is the worst kind of whataboutism.
That shit is very much like the Nazis blaming the Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto for what the Nazis were doing to them.
The ethno-Fascists style of excuse is the same for Zionists as it was for Nazis with little more than the names of the “ethnics” and of the “places” changed.
If the infrastructure wasn’t intentionally sabotaged by Hamas there would be less suffering.
Sure, but if the entire city wasn’t bombed to rubble then there would be a LOT less suffering. Calling for ending the destruction of a whole community of people, including mostly civilians and children, shouldn’t get horrible people like you coming out of the woodwork to push back on calls for mercy and compassion for people who have done nothing to deserve what’s being done to them.
People like you break my heart. I will tell my friends and family about you personally. I want you to know that. I will tell them tonight how I was just seeing a bad person online who supports the mindless murder of civilians. Some random person who had to type out their defense and justification for inflicting suffering on innocent people. You are an example so thank you, I can screen-shot this and compile this along with others who support genocide and suffering of people for their skin color and ethnicity, and maybe your little comment here will make it into a history book someday.
What side of history do you think you’ll land on anyway? I would offer you a lot of historical examples of similar situations and the people who had takes like yours.
I hope you and your family are well. I’m sorry that the most interesting thing you have to talk about is my comment on some meme.
You’re more sorry about that than justifying genocide?
So, when we look at the actions taken, the dropping of thousands and thousands of bombs in a couple of days, including phosphorus bombs, as we heard, on one of the most densely populated areas around the world, together with these proclamations of intent, this indeed constitutes genocidal killing, which is the first act, according to the convention, of genocide. And Israel, I must say, is also perpetrating act number two and three — that is, causing serious bodily or mental harm, and creating condition designed to bring about the destruction of the group by cutting off water, food, supply of energy, bombing hospitals, ordering the fast evictions of hospitals, which the World Health Organization has declared to be, quote, “a death sentence.” So, we’re seeing the combination of genocidal acts with special intent. This is indeed a textbook case of genocide.
“A Textbook Case of Genocide”: Israeli Holocaust Scholar Raz Segal Decries Israel’s Assault on Gaza
it’s not that innocent what you are engaged in, child
So Hamas made Israel blow shit up, eh?
If the infrastructure wasn’t intentionally sabotaged by Hamas there would be less suffering. Water infrastructure in Gaza has been suffering for years due to Hamas’ actions. Bombing provoked by October 7th and the continued holding of hostages has exacerbated the problem but let’s not pretend that municipal water “run” by a genocidal terrorist group was serving all innocent Palestinians with the water they needed prior to the war.
Wow. Maybe Israel shouldn’t have helped Hamas get elected, then.
Yes. It was an obvious mistake of historic proportions and one which I as well as many others interested in a lasting peace between an Israeli and Palestinian state have opposed.
It wasn’t a mistake. Israel wanted a terrorist group in charge of gaza so that they could justify the current bombings and genocide. It was all intentional. Going exactly according to plan. It’s all Israel’s fault.
When did Hamas sabotage the water infrastructure?
https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/13/middleeast/hamas-weapons-invs/index.html
Hamas produces the vast majority of its own Qassam rockets these days, said the researcher, given the difficulties of smuggling in larger rockets into the blockaded Gaza Strip. How the group manufactures the makeshift rockets is less known. In previous battles with Israel, Hamas was known to have fired rockets made of old water pipes, the researcher noted.
Hamas dug up some water pipes beneath old abandoned Israeli settlements in Gaza for rockets…In the far past from a time Israelis controlled Gaza.
Extrapolating this event in the far past this to dismantling the actual water supply of Gaza to make rockets is a slight stretch to say the least. Especially since we have satalite images of it being destroyed by Israeli rockets
I never meant to imply or state that the bombing has no impact, or even that it isn’t the most significant impact. We should be able to acknowledge that war is terrible and harms innocent civilians while also acknowledging that the governing power of Gaza has taken steps to further endanger Palestinians living there.
I have not seen Hamas damaging any water supply systems that are in use. Only Israel is doing that.
The old pipes you referred to, beneath the abandoned Israeli settlements, were not in use.
So, what’s your final solution to this Palestinian problem?
The whole Zyklon-B, death camps and train transport would be too much of a hassle and too obvious in the XXI century.
Death by Starvation, Disease and Dehydration is a much cheaper Final Solution and pro-Genocide Propagandists can even blame the victims themselves.
I’m not an expert on any of this, but how are you able to type a line like this:
the water system which has been cannibalized for years by Hamas to create mortars used to attack Israeli civilians
Without realizing how incredibly asinine it sounds? Like, have you ever been outside? Have you ever had a job that handled materials of ANY kind? Do you know how things work at all? Because this is such an obviously stupid line to use to push back on the current fact that innocent people are being killed that it displays either a fantastic level of ignorance, or a fantastic level of evil. It’s one or the other, which bad wolf inside you are you feeding? The dumb one or the evil one?
Human ingenuity is a powerful force. Hamas has shown propaganda videos they filmed and published showing their production line using water pipes. Take a look and then I’ll happily discuss further
I love how people are so willing to swallow even nonsense without question if it supports their emotional stance on a topic.
but the hospital even had a room filled with red barrel explosives!
The render can’t possibly lie. If we had just sent someone in there to shoot the barrels while the bad guys were standing next to them, we wouldn’t be in this situation to begin with.
Got a source? Got a link? Got anything to back up your bullshit claims? Got literally anything to prove what you’re saying besides vibes? Please drop it here, please show me this video you speak of.
There’s an Al Jazeera documentary with a video of water pipes being used to make rockets: https://www.memri.org/tv/jazeera-documentary-hamas-missile-industry-iran-sends-kornet-fajr-missiles-to-gaza-reclaims-munitions
Ah yeah specifically what pipes are you smoking
probably because you can just buy water pipes from the global market at incredibly cheap prices.
Scavenging does wonders for price effectiveness.
Absolutely unhinged
Aye, that’s the one!

Israel is also a genocidal maniac, every country except the United States already knows this, every international body knows this, and yet I come here and see shit takes like this
There’s defending yourself, and then there are war crimes. The government of Israel has stepped so far beyond the line that someone would have to either be supporting their crusade or burying their head in the sand to think they’re not genocidal maniacs.
We have:
- Bombing refuge areas after suggesting civilians go there to avoid the conflict.
- Flattening hospitals.
- Soldiers pretending to be doctors.
- Soldiers assassinating targets in hospitals.
- Sabotaging support from international humanitarian aid organizations.
- Destroying civil infrastructure.
- Killing children.
I’m sure there’s plenty more that I missed, too.

Sadly, it’s not just the US. Too many states are stuck in Israel defaultism.
And all the starving and maimed and killed children in Gaza are/were of course Hamas, right?
Honestly, Netanyahu is building the future of Hamas, because any who survive this slaughter will never forget it. Even the families of the hostages have called for a ceasefire, but Israel would rather kill the Israeli hostages than free them.
Yeah because Israel is somehow even fucking worse than them. Immediately after becoming a state they start to oppress the palestinians, then they fund and support hamas untill they get a reason to level the Gaza strip.
No idea what they had said, but they deleted and slunk back into the shadows.
Turns out, surprisingly, people keep their fucking mouth shut and keep their rotting opinions to themselves when the public pushes back.
Imagine if we never had social media safe-spaces and everyone, everywhere had to face the full repercussions of their ideas online from the broad majority of the world instead of their select communities that support any brainless, heartless idea they have. We would be exploring the galaxy already.
I have just one question who does everyone literally everyone get downvoted into the grave if you support Israel why? Huh

Imagine if we never had social media safe-spaces and everyone, everywhere had to face the full repercussions of their ideas
if we didn’t have that, we would just have an incredible amount of echo chambers, each with their own ideology on their own little crusade to dominate shit.
It would certainly be nice if everyone could get along. It would certainly be nice.
Voicing support of an apartheid settler state doing an ethnic cleansing should rightfully get you boo’d out of whatever room you’re standing in. I fail to see the problem here.
Because Israel is bad and supporting Israel is bad.
In many cases it seems like a bait when it’s put about their gazan policies. The situation in itself is unique and complicated, but Israel didn’t seem to even try to help it for how long this Strip exists. And right now it’s hard to tell what they aim at but making living there unbearable, so they’d refuge from what originally started as a refugee camp. Is that the only way? Probably not, but either way it doesn’t seem like Israel is struggling with whatever it is doing.
The situation in itself is unique and complicated
i’m not sure how unique this is, though in the modern era, this is certainly a unique event. But going back through human history, covering religion, and the various empires that rose and fell from grace. I’m not sure how unusual it would’ve been to see this level of war.
Now I’m left wondering what the children of a water system look like.
It just randomly disappeared, no one knows what happened to it 🤷
like Nord stream
we still dont know fuck shit about nordstream, it’s theorized that it was ukraine, but we don’t exactly have super solid evidence of this. it could’ve been russia, but let’s be real. It probably wasn’t. It could’ve been china, but i doubt that they cared. Could’ve been the US, i sincerely doubt this. Could’ve been one of the european nations, or maybe just a rich billionaire or some shit, who knows.
What we do know, is that the attack was for all four of the pipelines, and one of them failed to properly destroy the pipeline, so presumably there is some amount of forensic evidence there. And it seems like nobody really wants to talk about it for fears of starting ww3
I have no doubt that the US was behind the destruction of Nord Stream 2, Biden said as much in 2022 in the lead up to the war
https://youtu.be/OS4O8rGRLf8?si=rP-MMg4bbvFpnqe9
During a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, President Biden is asked about the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
“If Russia invades, that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine again, then there will no longer be a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.”
when asked how, the president says, “I promise you, we will be able to do that.”
i mean this isn’t proof. This is pretty typical for legislative speak.
Also there are literally people speaking german in this video.
Probably a RuSSian false-flag operating
why would they?
So they can accuse Ukraine and the US of doing it. That’s how a false-flag operation works.
and then what?
They call it “war”. Some German journalists call it “militarily operation”
It infuriates me how the narrative goes like this: Hamas (or any Palestinian group with even an ounce of power) is comprised of conscious actors who have agency and can/must be held accountable. Meanwhile, Israel is just this nebulous force of nature that happens and thus cannot be held accountable for it’s actions (like a hurricane or earthquake).
Destroyed by both sides in a war cause by a Palestinian government that has majority support. Palestinians should be rising up against their government for starting a war they were not prepared for.
Or maybe, almost a century of colonization on Israel’s part has left Palestinians with no choice but to defend themselves violently. Don’t want terrorists? Maybe don’t bomb civilians and civilian infrastructure. Because every bomb you drop on a residential building is going to end up creating more terrorists than you kill.
Since you say they had no choice but to defend themselves violently pre October 7 then Isreal loses nothing by destroying gaza because they were already radicalized and already had a justification for war. So Isreal should take the opportunity oct7 provided to destroy all their military capabilities.
Palestinians have to realize that their situation isn’t getting better when they “violently defend themselves” the only way to improve their situation is through diplomacy amwhich requires making concessions to reach a deal.
then Isreal loses nothing by destroying gaza
So we’re just going full mask off genocide? Get a grip.
Palestinians have to realize that their situation isn’t getting better
If you had any understanding of history, you’d know that has always been the case no matter what. Every decade, they’ve faced massacres, destruction of their homes, and ethnic cleansing.
It has always been the case that their situation isn’t getting better, it has always been getting worse. Israel going full genocidal mode after October 7th was inevitable. At least now the world is paying closer attention and pressuring Israel and public officials to shut it down.
the only way to improve their situation is through diplomacy amwhich requires making concessions to reach a deal.
Not possible when Israel has a policy of “we will kill you, or take your home, we will accept nothing else”.
Clearly you haven’t been paying attention, because for he last several months Israel has constantly reiterated that regardless of what deals are made, the only condition for ending their attacks is the end of Hamas. But conveniently everybody who dies gets called Hamas. According to Israel, basically no civilians have been killed.
You can’t negotiate with genocidal maniacs. There is no middle ground when one side wants genocide, and the other just wants to live.
From isreals point of view they are fighting a “just war” (oxymoron yes I know) and are free to complete their war aims of destroying hamas. The rest of the world isn’t standing in the way of Isreal so they aren’t forced to give up much more than some PR.
If you knew anything about history you would know why the Palestinian situation continues getting worse and why they are constantly in wars. It’s definitely as much Palestinians blocking peace as Isreal.
Every single time a ceaswfire deal gets close hamas changes the deal at the last minute to something they know is unreasonable thereby taking negotiations back to step 1. If Palestinians wanted peace they would target hamas and not Isreal. They aren’t going to defeat Isreal. The only thing standing In the way of a ceasefire is the gazan “government” and the Palestinian support for them. So we can rephrase that as the only thing in the way of peace is the Palestinians living in Gaza.
If a ceasefire deal isn’t reached it won’t be Isrealis dying it won’t be Isreal losing land. The only people getting hurt are the Palestinians. I guess the Palestinians know thay they can just wait for the fighting to end and the rest of the world will come rebuild their cities and give them food, water and when have recovered they can go right back to attacking Isreal.
From isreals point of view they are fighting a “just war”
And from Germany’s point of view, they were fighting a just war.
It’s definitely as much Palestinians blocking peace as Isreal.
Every single time a ceaswfire deal gets close hamas changes the deal at the last minute to something they know is unreasonable thereby taking negotiations back to step 1.
This is factually incorrect. You have it backwards.
Israel has been pulling this shit since forever:
https://www.vox.com/world-politics/2023/11/22/23971375/israel-palestine-peace-talks-deal-timeline
And they’ve been doing ethnically cleansing the whole time:
https://imeu.org/article/the-nakba-65-years-of-dispossession-and-apartheid
We’ll see there’s these things called rockets.
And in Hamas’s language they call rocket launch sites Alderaan. Google “The destruction of Alderaan” to learn more.
im no forensic analyst but i’d probably venture to say that it would have been some number of the explosive munitions that ended up in the ordeal.
I’ll remember this argument next time you/others talk about how Gaza is cut off from global markets by Israel
Because it’s been a deliberate tactic of De-development
The blockade and Israel’s repeated military offensives have had a heavy toll on Gaza’s essential infrastructure and further debilitated its health system and economy, leaving the area in a state of perpetual humanitarian crisis. Indeed, Israel’s collective punishment of Gaza’s civilian population, the majority of whom are children, has created conditions inimical to human life due to shortages of housing, potable water and electricity, and lack of access to essential medicines and medical care, food, educational equipment and building materials.
- Amnesty International Report pg 26-27
Other reports about how Israel is an Apartheid State: Human Rights Watch Report, B’TSelem Report with quick Explainer
The Israeli imposed closure on Gaza began in 1991, temporarily, becoming permanent in 1993. The barrier began around Gaza around 1972. After the ‘disengagement’ in 2007, this turned into a full blockade; where Israel has had control over the airspace, borders, and sea. Under the guise of ‘dual-use’ Israel has restricted food, allocating a minimum supply leading to over half of Gaza being food insecure; construction materials, medical supplies, and other basic necessities have also been restricted.
Gaza Policy Forum summary: Experts agree that Israel’s dual-use policy causes acute distress
Through 1993 Israel imposed a one-way system of tariffs and duties on the importation of goods through its borders; leaving Israel for Gaza, however, no tariffs or other regulations applied. Thus, for Israeli exports to Gaza, the Strip was treated as part of Israel; but for Gazan exports to Israel, the Strip was treated as a foreign entity subject to various “non-tariff barriers.” This placed Israel at a distinct advantage for trading and limited Gaza’s access to Israeli and foreign markets. Gazans had no recourse against such policies, being totally unable to protect themselves with tariffs or exchange rate controls. Thus, they had to pay more for highly protected Israeli products than they would if they had some control over their own economy. Such policies deprived the occupied territories of significant customs revenue, estimated at $118-$176 million in 1986. (Arguably, the economic terms of the Gaza—Jericho Agreement modify the situation only slightly.)

In a report released in May 2015, the World Bank revealed that as a result of Israel’s blockade and OPE, Gaza’s manufacturing sector shrank by as much as 60 percent over eight years while real per capita income is 31 percent lower than it was 20 years ago. The report also stated that the blockade alone is responsible for a 50 percent decrease in Gaza’s GDP since 2007. Furthermore, OPE (com- bined with the tunnel closure) exacerbated an already grave situation by reducing Gaza’s economy by an additional $460 million.
