Wizards of the Coast has released the 5.1 System Reference Document (basically the core rules of D&D 5e) in four new languages alongside English including Spanish, Italian, German, and French.

All of these have been released under a Creative Commons Attribution License which means creators are free to copy, modify, and use these works – including commercially – by referencing the document and it’s license in their work.

In my opinion, this is an amazing effort and one that helps Wizards of the Coast improve its reputation as a good steward of D&D and good partner of the hobby.

    Remember that the moment they feel they can they will try and fuck us again. Meanwhile pathfinder continues to be great and player friendly, never hired mercenaries to raid anyone etc. also better ruleset. Hard to care for dnd anymore. :(

      FYI paizo has in the past been accused of being a toxic/hostile work environment by many employees. So much so that a portion of their employees unionized a while back. Don’t know if it’s still the same, but just for what it’s worth, paizo isn’t necessarily the shining knight some people will make it out to be.

      Probably still not as bad as wotc in that regard, but still something to remember.

        Yeah being a hostile work environment, not great and sadly too common. But let’s not put that on the same level as wotc hiring a mercenary company to raid someone’s home. :/
