2 recent posts I made were deleted with the reason “please refrain from cannibalposting” (link to the modlog). I don’t get how this is a rule violation and I don’t remember r/196 ever removing posts like that.

In general I thought the concensus has always been that 196 is only moderated to remove bigotry and the like, I fail to see how this would be in spirit of the subreddit :/ (unless I’m missing something)

I also find the thought concerning that I might not be welcome to express my dietary preferences regarding babies on here :(

I think the common theme of flesh-eating is what is the problem. Do I agree with it? Not really. It’s obvious satire and commentary. You are welcome to post on https://kbin.social/m/schizophrenicpissdawn as the barely unhinged is the kind of content we enjoy both on the subreddit and here.

It doesn’t seem to be actually illegal, so I think someone cute enough with the right science could (maybe) practice ethical cannibalism (if doctors could/would allow it). A hand-for-a-hand, with multiple interpretations (holding, robotic, rumblies, marriage). Money somewhat an issue now, less as tech advances/ages.

If someone paid for cryonic preservation of my head (also some legal stuff to hopefully ensure a good-context revival) they could have my defective meatbag. Well, death is still a legal issue here.

I’m sure if people actually did this it would cause a stink, but also I could see it being easy to get takers. Like any modest proposal, I guess. I can imagine some politicians would see it differently, demonizing its implications for the workforce (or comparing it to prostitution) rather than thinking/talking about why anyone would agree to such a thing.
