Obviously this won’t work for all sports, but things like football, track, soccer, it would allow for de-gendered team, even allowing athletes with the skills but not the genetically-endowed physical attributes to have a place to play.

Note: I know very little about sports and being on a sports team, so please point out anything that doesn’t make sense.

    Do you have good resources I can read up on the studies?

    Off the top of duck duck go, I get:

    • At 12 months, both lean body mass, how much muscle is present, and cross-sectional muscle size were significantly reduced.
    • But the loss of muscle strength ranged from non-significant to 7%. “…after 12-36 months of GAHT suggests that transwomen likely retain a strength advantage over cisgender women.”
    • The hemoglobin and hematocrit, the oxygen delivery essential to endurance, of transwomen were identical to ciswomen at four months.
