This is just horrible. Destroying environments for Silicon Valley to waste more electricity for AI is just bonkers to me. Joshua Trees are such an iconic plant that won’t expand means that there will just be a lot of extra dust lowering the solar energy output.
Plus, I really despite bis businesses that promise to protect the environment in other places if you allow them to destroy the environment. It’s still considered a net loss, but increasing wealth to equity firms is all that matters.
