That was a fun hot ones. Struggled, but sent it anyway. Nothing to promote or sell. Some fun anecdotes. I liked it! Hope more F1 drivers get to go on the show.

I’ve always liked Lewis. I mean how could not like a guy with two 427 Cobras? I hear he spends a lot of time in the US, as Schumacher did.

They’ve had plenty of vegans/vegetarians on the show in the past. They just use cauliflower wings or some other alternative.

Also, it’s a show called “Hot Ones”. They have 10 hot sauce bottles prominently displayed on the table right in front of both the guest and the host. What about that makes you think that the focus is on the chicken, rather than hot sauce? Have you ever watched it, even once?

There is two promotion urls in the bio, one for sauce and one that goes to “Frozen Meat, Poultry & Seafood” but even if it was not a paid promotion, it is still normalizing the killing of animals

I know you have good intentions, but I just want to point that animals getting killed is part of the natural cycle and it happens in the wilderness literally millions of times a day.

That’s the worst argument towards veganism.

The two best arguments in my opinion are: the meat industry produces a ton of CO2, and we could feed more people with the same amount of land.

I’m not entirely in support of veganism since I think that some animal protein is essential for the average person’s diet. But I certainly agree with the 2 reasons above.

The average American gets about twice the protein they need.

Nearly all foods have some protein, so it’s difficult to have a protein deficiency without a calorie deficiency.

Animal protein comes with cholesterol, which no plant-protein has and people tend to have too much of.

Plant-based protein from whole food comes with fiber, which people tend to have too little of.

I think the ethical argument is the strongest.

“animals getting killed is part of the natural cycle”

The 80 billion animals a year we kill are in farms and not part of the natural cycle (96% of the land mammals by weight are human or farmed animals) but if you meant to say there is wild animals that kill other animals and that makes it morally correct then what do you think of lions raping each other? Is that now also morally justified?

Okay take my same argument but replace rape with killing their own babies which lions do.

different species have different lifecycles. why shouldn’t a lion kill its young? theer is good reason for people not to. but the same doesn’t apply to food.
