It’s literally not worth your time to talk to me. If you do, I’m just going to assume you’re either in the IDF or working out of that one Air Force Intelligence Base for the US. Literally no real normal person would ever engage with someone like Me if they don’t agree with me.

“Don’t talked to me …. Literally no one would engage with me unless they agreed with me” is the dumbest fucking thing ever said.

You’re saying “these are my beliefs and I am acknowledging I am stubborn on how I hold them and will not tolerate any thought even if it helps hone my position”

Even if I agree with you (and I do) about this fucked up situation you’ve identified yourself as extreme and not worth having around in intelligent conversation and through your extreme effort you push more than you get people on your side.

There’s a certain subset of users on this site that are immediately combative, stupid, petty, and assured of their moral righteousness. Price of not using reddit, I’m afraid.

You say that like there wasn’t/isn’t a subset of redditors who are immediately combative, stupid, petty, and assured of their moral righteousness.

Dude. These are the most fragile people on earth. The slightest push back and they snap like twigs. You’re one comment away from being a Nazi-Genocide defending-Zionist shill for the most milquetoast engagement.

What they don’t realize is that even though I align with 99% of their positions, by reacting in such a way they are perpetuating the narrative that this camp is composed of imbeciles unable to hold a conversation about… anything really.

It’s funny because I don’t even post political opinions anymore, despite being pretty far left myself.

I said Anya taylor-Joy doesn’t play a convincing poor person on screen and said her brand probably depends on it and immediately got called the stupidest person in a thread about how her newest movie was a failure.

You’d think I wrote a nazi manifesto to deserve that kind of flack.

That’s just absolutely not true. It’s completely normal, and even important, to engage with people that have a different opinon.

“Back in your day” you could afford a home while delivering newspapers and recycling glass soda bottles to pay utilities. While fascism hasn’t changed, how we prefer to try and handle situations have. Time will tell if it’s the right choice, though I do feel we are too lenient and restrained as a whole.

What does your point have to do with fighting against fascism and why are people so fucking pathetic that they vote down an obvious, “punch nazis” expression?

This country is completely fucked, because “good” morons don’t understand that the bad people WANT to be bad… Grow the fuck up and realize virtue signaling online doesn’t make you a fighter against fascism.

I think because the majority know what should be done. Yet despite being connected to anyone with access to the Internet, that majority also feel all too often like individuals. It’s difficult to want to agree to more radical courses of action when you’re uncertain how many will stand with you. There isn’t much room to course correct in that equation.

Arguing with freakazoids over whether or not it’s right or wrong to murder 40+ civilians to kill 1 suspected terrorist is pointless imo, but you do you.

For the record, of course it’s appalling what happened there. And I find it terrible by any means.
But, despite what the group in this context currently thinks, I generally do think it is important to talk with other people when they have different opinions. That’s just a big belief I have. Just by talking, Daryl Davis could get over 200 members to leave a Ku-Klux-Klan which resulted in its dissolution. If you don’t talk to people, they will just be with other likeminded people and aren’t able to get new information or change their mind.

I think this bit was unnecessary. You just gave the genocide enablers something easy to deflect from the main point of the post. See the top comments, but kudos for calling out the hypocrisies of a US. Both parties support the genocide but there’s a ruckus when you point it out.

Edit: he wants the defense industry to be able to sell weapons to anyone they want as long as they are “friends”? Lol, yea, that’s totally going to end wars and make the US a beacon of peace… Did you even read the link before sharing?

Yup. All the so-called liberals are over here clamoring for another four years of Genocide Joe and just ignoring it, when we could have had Marianne Williamson instead.
