I’m not 100% convinced yet but lemmy.world is the best instance I’ve seen, combined with the .old styling edition.
If he couldn’t control Reddit, and he was still around to see it turn into what it is today, he would’ve left years ago and started Reddit 2.0

I’d have been part of it but I deleted my account at the start of the month lol
So the original plan for was it to go grayscale at the end? If so, I guess they changed it to a white out after the huge spez sign showed up.
The color palette actually changed to grayscale and shortly after, it was only white. So people could have whitened out the entire Fuck Spez message and not recovery it, but since everybody had the singular goal of getting the message out, it stayed.
You know it’s crazy when they go the extra mile to get the fucking exclamation point
