Jeebus, I’m a teacher and I’m held to higher impartiality standards than SCOTUS seems to be.
Hatch act only applies to some members of government…
His excuse for the upside-down flag was this:
”I had no involvement whatsoever in the flying of the flag,” Alito said in an emailed statement to the Times. “It was briefly placed by Mrs. Alito in response to a neighbor’s use of objectionable and personally insulting language on yard signs.”
So far, he’s declined to respond to the questions regarding these flags. I wonder what lie we should expect to hear from one of the highest authorities in our nation.
Why is everyone so Worked Up over one of the Highest Judges In The United States Of America supporting by definition Seditionists Against The United States Of America? It’s not like he’s going to use his Very Obvious Bias to CREATE Laws we ALL have to follow or be Jailed over!
Not to dampen your effort, but SCOTUS doesn’t create laws. Just FYI.
*didn’t. They seem to have found a handy way to legislate from the bench. All they need is an excuse to hear a fake case and some imaginative takes on obscure rings that aren’t remotely precedent.
Agreed.
Guys, chill. There is a perfectly reasonable explanation. It was his pool cleaner that hung the flag and did not let him know
"Oh shit…
Hey buddy…
Wazzat?
…Jake, right sorry…Jake…
…say, how’d you like to make $500 after you finish with the pool, James?"
Not sure if you were hypothesizing or if this is something Alito’s pool cleaner actually admitted to doing as I haven’t been following this story much, but…when justices legislate from the bench, their word (and, by extension, those they employ) is worth absolutely fucking nothing.
I’m appalled. More than one house? In this economy?
His wife really is fuzzy headed, isn’t she? All these flags.
Finally found a pic:

Last post I read, everyone jumping all over it with zero evidence.
Who wants to remake the government in Christian terms? Where are these pious people?I’ve never seen any. How do their demands line up with Christianity? Otherwise it’s a coup by the 1%. A minority of the population empowered by gerrymandering does not get to dictate policy
I understand there are Christians out there, never have I heard them say they didn’t feel represented. I’ve never seen any pious ones either. Just who is frothing at the mouth ready to “take over”?
No takers?
