Also, does anybody want to help me on my way to make it? I need someone with ricing experience to make me a good-looking Minecraft theme
Keep in mind that there are 2 versions of Minecraft:
The Java edition: Runs on all Operating Systems
The Bedrock edition (Previously known as the Win10 edition): Runs on Phones, Consoles and Computers, but as old name implies, only runs on Windows.
This is the only version that supports cross-play with Consoles and Phones!Although there are ways to run the Bedrock Edition on Linux, they’re all unofficial and I don’t know if they still work properly. You should check what version your cousin and his friends are currently using, as the Java version will not allow him to play together with his Console/Phone friends.
He plays Java since most of his friends do

The grub Minecraft theme
Yeah, and a lot more
Minecraft is excellent to get kids interested in computer. Not just the software part. See a short demo of Minecraft with a dedicated DIY controller: https://tube.tchncs.de/w/k7Y4FuHBkr6LsQMvBogfjH (I couldn’t embed the video here).
What is Minecraft OS? Happy to learn something new.
Just Linux heavily riced to look Minecraft-y
Sorry, I seem already old, what does this mean, a background?
I guess some adaptations (more than with windows/Mac) one can apply to any Linux desktop.
Fully themed, With the font, and the theme looking Like Minecraft.
I recommend a look at !unicorn@lemmy.ml to see what ricing can do.
Basically, ricing means adjusting the optics of your desktop beyond a wallpaper.
Did you link the wrong community by chance?
Probably autocorrect from !unixporn@lemmy.ml
Ah, perfect. Tyvm.
Maybe I will try Gnome once more
Maybe try Fedora
