These “Witcher 3 lite” AC games get shit on all the time, but I love 'em and can’t put them down. They’re like video game comfort food.

Well, I think they have become too bloated, but if you like them, there’s nothing wrong with playing and enjoying them.

Though it’s funny to see them references as “Witcher 3 lite” 😀

Yeah, I totally get why some people don’t like them. Something about their gameplay loop is just relaxing to me, I guess.

It’s pretty clear that starting with Origins they were heavily influenced by The Witcher 3.

Not historically accurate at all… but might be fun.

Edit: Apparently it’s based on Yasuke, a black samurai. Oh well…

lol idc if it’s black or not. I was actually expecting Asian, how can you not when it’s a samurai game set in Japan? Didn’t know Yasuke was an actual samurai, so I think it’s dope. That’s why I edited it in the first place. But you do you - and jump to conclusions.

Well, I think “white male” in video games is kind of a “default persona”. So, when we see white male do something, we just consider it a generic game character, but any change from “while male”, and we pick it right away and start thinking if it’s correct representation or not.

Just my spur-of-the-moment thoughts on your post. 😀
