Sega is giving away Steam keys for the Dreamcast era game Sega Bass Fishing here: https://games.sega.com/bassfishing/?lang=en
You have to verify your email which will sign you up for their email newsletter and they aren’t going to send out keys until Aug 1. But still free game!
The game has a Platinum rating on ProtonDB and I’ve read that the Dreamcast Fishing Rod unfortunately won’t work with the Steam version very well due to how the rod is set to emulate the analog stick. It makes the menus impossible to use.
The edits were because I’m still learning the Voyager interface for Lemmy. I didn’t realize the three choices of photo, link, and text were separate choices. But the link is in the text and I thought the picture was nice.
I like this type of formatting, it works quite well on jerboa and gives me an extra margin “safe” space before immediately going to a company’s website.
Don’t need it but just played this game on the Steam Deck myself. It’s a fantastic time killer that got me into fishing games for a bit. Thanks for the give away

Patient Gamer Moment
Selling a 22 year old game for $8 should be a crime.
Yeah, I’m not giving Sega my info, and free reign to harass the shit out of me, for an ancient game that should be in the public domain by now.
