When i add this mod to my weapon the damage does not seem to be going up. Tested multiple times in the simulacrum. Looking as to why it would not be applying properly.
Edit: I would just like to thank everyone for taking the time to help. I even asked trade chat in game but people were just trying to buy it for 200p.
Its the braton prime, 4/5 dispo. tested on corrupted heavies lvl 135. I’m also using arcane merciless but tried to stay away from multishot due to the ammo consumption in incarnon form.
You are missing out on a big damage buff from multishot, just spec out of the evolution if you feel like you spend the ammo too fast
I would drop either Serration (most likely this mod) or Hunter Munitions and replace it with Galvanized Chamber. Serration, Arcane Merciless, Galvanized Aptitude and your + damage Riven stat are all Additive to each other so you’re hitting diminishing returns. If you don’t have issues landing headshots, Arcane Deadhead might be a better choice for the reduced recoil, easier to maintain buff, and increased headshot multiplier. Stick with Merciless though you prefer the faster reload/transformation.
I should have realised about the additive damage, feel a bit dumb now.
i swapped out serration for galvanized chamber and it seemed to work so thank you very much :D. I was getting worried because i seemed to have hit the jackpot with this riven. Do you think hammer shot would be better than hunter munitions also?
The extra crit damage and status chance from hammer shot probably help with procing slashes with the weapons base stat distribution. I would mostly treat that as your option slot. Other options would be Shred (weapon feel + slight increase in damage/shot if you’re able to hit multiple enemies with the same shot), a fire rate mod like Vigilante Ferver (weapon feel + set bonus), Bane mod (largest increase in damage but somewhat annoying to use and not all enemies have a Bane mods that works on them).
I always feel like shred isn’t worth it till primed shred as the fire rate isn’t huge and you don’t line up enemies as often as you think you do
