I’d like to buy a French comic I can’t find online from any store that sells French Bande dessinée (Amazon, fnac or anything else) and then ask for a refund so I can keep a nice *.cbz or *.cbr file on my hard drive.

Any guide out there on how to properly de-DRM comics? I’d like something easy if possible I’m tech and computer savvy enough but not “coding” savvy

I would check over at !trackers@lemmy.dbzer0.com to see if at some point Bibliotik is taking applications.

They generally post about open sign ups for various private trackers over there. Good luck!

Bib is notoriously hard to get an invite to.

MAM is a books-focused private tracker that’s a lot easier to get started on. They have open signups scheduled weekly.
