Based on the small overall amount of votes here, a similarly small amount of votes on Matrix, the large amount of people who voted on Discord and the large margin by which the name VoxeLibre won the voting on Discord, as well as the heated discussion that followed the survey on private dev chats....

The name change is finally happening. We have decided on the new name and are moving forward.

    Pretty much. Yes.

    The game has always had differences and sometimes the contributors can get a little firm on folk for differing because it’s called MineClone2. Well now it isn’t. The term inspired by rather than clone has been used for a while now.
