The anti gay marriage position makes no sense. If Christians didn’t enshrine that word in law and culture, we wouldn’t need to make it equal. Call the legal version “civil union” or something. But Christians divorced it from its Christian context and then some of them get mad that we’re divorcing it from its Christian context.
