I now see this when i boot up. I just restarted my pc and now i get this.

  Once level up enough you’ll be writing a GRUB replacement yourself. Now that would be a massive achievement.

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
