The ‘NYTimes’ is ignoring Israel’s crackdown in the West Bank
https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/mondoweiss/
Edit: Gotta love how much you people love unreliable sources as long as it feeds your confirmation bias.
“bias check” website using Israeli sources to declare mondoweiss a hate group is fucking hilarious. immediately lost itself all credibility.
GTFOH
“Overall, we rate Mondoweiss as Left Biased and Questionable due to the blending of opinion with news, the promotion of pro-Palestinian and anti-zionist propaganda, occasional reliance on poor sources, and hate group designation by third-party pro-Israel advocates. (D. Van Zandt 3/4/2017) Updated (12/07/2023)“
Gonna be honest here, kinda disappointed in mediabiasfactcheck for using the “hate group designation by third-party pro-Israel advocates“ as a measure of credibility while also stating they don’t fact check this source. Brings down my view of them which sucks cause I liked them.
I appreciate Darkthoughts for linking the credibility measure for discussion though. More posts need that.
Maybe we can’t rely on organisations founded by and for white americans to properly report on the credibility of people who are being bombed by white Americans and their allies.
It’s also for “mixing opinion with news” as if it’s not immediately obvious which is which. Also I’d like to see the “anti-Zionist propaganda”.
That zandt really hates sources that paint Israel as bad, especially in this case when it was stated by a Jewish anti zionist
I know people living in Gaza/Palestina and what they see with their own eyes is not different from what I see in mondoweiss.
And if you want another source on the land robbery:

I’m replying to your edit: the link you gave concluded with “questionable” which explicitly stated part of that determination was from pro-Israel advocacy groups while also stating they did not fact check this source.
For a site based on combating bias that’s pretty ironic.
Again I appreciate the credibility check, but this particular instance demonstrated to me that MBFC isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
