However, expending all your energy and agitprop potential on getting ppl to vote for the good cop instead of the bad cop, still legitimizes the dictatorship of capital (as well as it’s sham democracies).     One of the keys to strategic success is picking your battles. When you have the chance to choose the enemy you’ll face, don’t let fate decide for you. At the end of the day, you are going to fight, so pick the fight with the enemy you think you have a better chance of defeating. Take this whichever way you want.

      I don’t think all of those ppl are bots tbh. I get your frustration tho, should probably ramp up the moderation/enforcement of the com rules a bit. Should probably also invite some ppl to become moderators

        There is a primary user in control of at least 80 LW accounts.

        Some kind of SMM portal is open and allows them to switch out and essentially talk with themselves.

        Anything not federated with world is ACTUALLY leftist, anything else is reddit-lite

          hmmm, the problem is that lemmy.world is kind of the catch-all instance (similar to lemmy.ml in that regard). It would be like a Mastodon instance defederating mastodon.social

            All I’ll say is that I strongly believe this is to control the narrative.

            Every other social (excluding stormfront itself) is hella lefty and this one seems AstroTurf’d to high hell

            They has an untenable position and instead of examining it they’s resorting to conspiratorial thinking to preserve their ego. To the point, they seem to believe everyone who disagrees with them is a liberal, and don’t appear to engage honestly with other ideas.
