The newest arrival from this Brooklyn-based e-motorcycle manufacturer has everyone buzzing about its versatile and much more affordable design
I want to love electric dirt bikes so bad. I really do.
But i need range. 100 miles of city driving is just nowhere near what I’d need to replace my f850gsa. I can get 300 miles of range, and carry an equivalent amount of gas to get to over 600 miles. Now i don’t expect an electric to give me 600 miles… but we need to be at least around the 250-300 mark to let me feel confident enough to go off grid for a few days, and be close enough to some sort of charging infrastructure.
Just not there yet. I wait with baited breath.
*cries in 100 miles to reserve
Jesus Christ, what are you riding, a V Max with a peanut tank?
Vulcan 500 with a heavy wrist.
did someone tell you that you’re not allowed to put additional charged batteries in the cargo?
No, but i imagine costs would be high for that, and it creates additional logistical hurdles. Not saying it couldn’t work but… I’d still want that base range of at least 250-300.
I want to like electric motorcycles, but they’re either more expensive than a decent car, or are obviously designed by non-biker engineers that don’t understand what bikers want.
Personally i would prefer an electric bike for chill city commuting
It looks cool overall, but that seat looks Hella uncomfortable.
I’m sliding off just looking at it!
Gotta hit up Suzanne and work on those thighs
Looks like a KTM seat. Can confirm, terrible seats.
