Snow on Thursday.
The numbers could either be an American complaining about it being too cold or a non-American complaining about it being too hot
The snow flake. Its snows tomorrow.
Yes, which is why I said “the numbers”
Ah thanks ! I was wondering why complaining about 25 degrees. That is pretty damn good !
These are the temperatures we should be getting this time of year.
The warm February and week of 70° weather shouldn’t be something to get excited about. Climate change is forcing spring to come earlier every year and as nice as it feels, it’s very bad for the plants and animals, and a bad sign in general.Oh I’m fully aware we’re going to be paying for it.
Normally, we still have 2-3 feet on the ground; and we get another 2+ feet in march (frequently in one day…)
Still. Blehk.
If i can’t grumble about the weather what can I grumble about?
(and also grumble about 60’s and sunshine- it’s unwholesome. The sunshine gets into people’s brains, their wits dribble out there ears… then they get ran over by a car because they were standing in the middle of the parking lot going “oh this is loverly”,)
Without a context of where this is or the temperature units used, the image is meaningless.
Where I live the forecast for tomorrow is between 0 and 7 degrees. Is that hot or cold?
well I don’t think it’s snowing at 30c
It’s march. Looks like march.
Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius?
It’s definitely snowing at 35*C
Use your noodle
lousy smarch weather
Fuck you it’s already creeping up to 80 where I am and I fucking hate it.
I still remember March 1998 in Toronto. Summer temperatures, mid 20 degree Celsius. It was glorious.
Sorry for you dude. Where are you?
A high of 69°F for me tomorrow. Nice.
Minnesota.
For the record, it usually snows a lot in march- usually on the twins home opener in April.
(This is nature’s way of saying how nice it is we built them an open stadium… even though they suck.)
But like a week or so ago we were in the 70’s. It’s been a chaotic year.
Minnesota? Well hell, you guys only have about 3 months you don’t need snow tires. And for one of those it’s 90°/90% humidity often as not. But you have walleye! Best fish I ever tasted.
Another Minnesotan here, as of 5am it’s currently 5F, (that’s -15C for those living in Rio Linda or Boca Raton). We might hit 15F/-9C for a high today. But I also live north of Frostbite Falls too. So enjoy your warm cozy day!
There’s something wrong with me.
I actually prefer -40 to 30’s (0’s) amd 40’s (4.4).
When it’s that cold you really don’t have people out and about causing mischief (and I work in security.) also, it’s not that bad if you have the gear for it, and finally, you don’t have worry as much about getting soaked.
40’s and rain? It seeps. And nothing wholesome ever seeps.
I’m fine with it too. Cold and snow isn’t much of an issue for me. But I have had a mild heat stroke before so I’d rather be cold than hot.
Having just checked the forecast, I see we are now looking at 10 to 25 inches of snow and high winds starting on Sunday and lasting through Monday. I could do without that…So I suppose I should pick up the tractor tire from the shop and get that mounted and check to make sure the emergency genset is working properly.
Of course it’s going to snow this weekend, it’s the state basketball tournament.
like a week or so ago we were in the 70’s. It’s been a chaotic year.
But at least you got a time machine out of the deal, so it isn’t ALL bad 😛
The post itself is what’s midly infuriating
0° = Water frozen 23° = Comfy Indoor temperature ~36° = Human body temperatur 100° = Water boiling
I guess you have super hot snow over there. Pretty cool!
