At first I wasn’t super on board because it felt like the romance was moving very fast before it’d really earned it, but it turns out I’d fallen for a trick! (lol)

The episode’s focus on Yori, her relationship with the band, and her feelings all felt good, which I think works well with her being the one with (currently) unrequited feelings. I’m hoping Himari gets a little more to her as we go, since at the moment she seems a bit one-note. Now that the bait and switch is over, hopefully we’ll be let into her world more substantially. For now, the show really gets across Yori’s feelings, which delivers the dokidoki moments a romance anime thrives on, and I’m eager to see more.
