Yeah, inspiration can be a hell of a drug to the creative mind. After the initial high and the burst of productivity that comes with it, picking the project back up feels more like a chore.
Sometimes just satisfying the initial curiosity feels like enough, and sometimes there’s enough recurring motivation to actually finish something.
I feel like applying proper project management skills and chopping things up into smaller milestones may actually help get things done.
Starting new side projects.
Finishing them turns out to be more difficult however.
