Well, also what was happening at the outset of the social media age… We were repeatedly humiliated by our own players leaving us for City, United, Barcelona etc., routinely knocked out of the Champions League in the ro16 by large margins, consistently battered by bigger teams in the league, and then the one season that looked like it was in the bag for us we fumbled it to Leicester.
We had some Ws in the FA cup but we were also just taking so many Ls
