Obviously Facebook didn’t do enough to remove potentially deadly misinformation because my ex-boss was foolish enough to think I got magnetized from the COVID vaccine and also thought masks didn’t work. I wish they’d been more proactive about removing shit like that.

Anyway, this seems less like a privacy issue and more like right-wingers being crybabies.

Okay, I know what magnetizing means in a scientific context, but what’s it mean to a right-winger? I’ve never heard the word used in that way before…

      Edit: A word.

Literally magnetic. She asked if she could try to stick a magnet to my shoulder where I got the vaccine. Predictably, it didn’t stick. Sadly, this didn’t seem to convince her that she was wrong.

Right-wing “science” is a whole different animal, and I think we should shut it down, before they pull out the skull calipers and things get really ugly. As long as it’s not the state doing it, I agree with Facebook and other media sites deplatforming these clowns.

Not OP but if it’s anything like my cousin, literally magnetized. As in “attracts ferrous materials”

As in “my credit cards don’t work because you got the coof Vax not because they’re over their limits and I make poor financial decisions” and “don’t get too close to grandma or your blood magnets will set off her pacemaker”
