I thought he knew as well, but I don’t know why she would shift before he saw her if she did? Seems strange that she was comfortably in her own skin cooking then suddenly he shows up and she put on a different face…
I’d like to think she’s comfortable both ways and it’s just situational.
It’s like how you might act differently around different friends or your SO. You don’t necessarily prefer one or another. In fact, it’s nice to have different people you can interact differently with.
