I’m incredibly left wing, but slinging insults like this isn’t helping to close the gap and persuade people to help build a fairer society. There are many, very intelligent right wing thinkers who I mainly disagree with.
I’d say more extreme views, whether right-wing or left-wing, tend to be associated with dogmatism and rigidity, which are more appealing to less intelligent people
