For example, the ruling part is making all schools, public & private, remove references to evolution and the periodic table of the elements from grade 10 science curriculum as it challenges Hindu Nationalist ideas of Indians being the first peoples, and the greatest scientists.

Unfortunately xenophobia is alive and well also in Europe. It tends to be more insidious and subtle, but it is very much there.
