My school recently announced changes to its uniform policy

2022-2023

-Navy polo shirt with school logo, tucked in

-Khaki pants (shorts permitted in September and May-June)

-Tan boat shoes

-Navy quarter zip with school logo (optional)

2023-2024

-Navy blazer with school logo (required daily)

-Navy v-neck sweater or vest with school logo (required to be worn daily under the blazer in the 2nd and 3rd quarters)

-White, long-sleeved dress shirt

-School tie

-Charcoal gray dress slacks

-Black leather dress shoes

-Black leather dress belt

-Black dress socks

Going to go from dressing casually to dressing like I’m going to church lol

    And that’s heat exhaustion 101, folks!

    I have temperature regulation issues, essentially I barely sweat and I overheat easily. I’d be able to get a doctor’s note or otherwise change schools - regardless, this is an insane policy. It’s not only a comfort issue, but a huge safety issue and violation. Forget mildly infuriating… this is more like moderately criminal.
