    This is such fucking bullshit.

    If you are having issues with therapy, I recommend finding a “cognitive behavioral therapy workbook for X” - X being what you’re dealing with. Depression, anxiety, sociao anxirty, avoidance / procrastination.

    I also recommend you can do similarly on youtube. A lot of very smart people post about how to reframe common issues including therapists, doctors, TED speakers, and Rust programmers. HealthygamerGG has been a go-to resource for me for a long time.

    Anti-depressants without therapy are already known to increase suicide risk. Therapy is the cure, antidepressants aid therapy.

    It may benefit some that therapy is much more easily reached by phonecall now. Traditional therapists now rarely or never go into the office.

    And frankly the basics of the article is true: Our society is sick. But the idea that we have reached peak therapy is stupid. It is as difficult as ever to find the right therapist, and even then it is a private, 1 on 1, expensive service, with iffy health insurance coverage.
