I find this mildly infuriating, I only use Windows for work, I even personally purchased Windows 11. Local account and disabled as much as I could. I personally do not like Windows or Windows in general.

Well, now I do an update and they throw this up like I need to walk thru these steps (again). Not even a “Skip”/“Don’t remind me again”. Windows is not what it used to be and after disabling half the Microsoft stuff I’d expect not to be bothered again. It’s really a built in ad more then anything.

IDK about N version but I have been using LTSC version from a copy I got off of internet archive. LTSC - long term service channel is a version of windows meant for specific industry devices that have to always be on and not updated very often or at all so it will get some light support for the next decade and a lot of the bloat is taken out. so far it has been 80% smooth sailing for me on LTSC. I did re-add the Microsoft store to get some app I cant even remember, and I found out that this version does not allow for Minecraft off of the Microsoft Store. The only other issue I had was blue screens whenever I try to open a virtualbox VM but I’m not sure it thats an OS or hardware issue yet.
