I was able to sign in through the sync app on Android. It loaded up pretty well and I placed some stuff last night. Never had to download an app. What are you using that made you need another one?
I’m thinking they might have just misclicked something. Only part I needed to go out of my app was when it sent my lemmy account that 6 digit code. Had to use another lemmy app to view that message to sign in on my main app.
It might be if I didn’t have to download a new app to access it… (At least on an android phone)

I loaded it up on google chrome on android…not sure why you would need another app?
